Sorry to have to do this, but I have had to start comment moderation again due to some "spam" I've recieved lately. However, no "word verification" needed.

Update on my son, as some of you have asked. I was able to visit him most of yesterday. he is wheeling around in a wheelchair to and from therapy, and had some feeling in his foot yesterday also. We are hopeful that this is the beginning of him getting his feeling back in his lower chest on down to the tips of his big toe!! His logging and trucking crew was there to visit him on Sunday afternoon, and very encouraging to him. He told me how blessed he was to experience the feeling on his foot. He has always been a hard worker and now that he is pretty much out of danger, he is looking forward to going forward. He still has 2 weeks of antibiotics for the staph infection, but doing very well. The blood loss has stopped and he has needed no more blood since a week ago.
Thanks so much for all your kind thoughts and prayers! And most of all, thanking the Lord for His mercy and love toward us.
Sounds like better news..

ReplyDeleteOh that's great news, Sunny! God is good, and He has heard the prayers of many! Your son sounds positive and that's key in getting well, both physically and mentally!
ReplyDeleteDitto to Vickie!
ReplyDeleteAmen to Vickie's and Susan's comments and thank you Sunny for sharing the extent of your son's injuries. I had a hunch, but couldn't tell exactly from your earlier post. Prayers up for his complete recovery and for everyone in your family as you weather these difficult circumstances.
ReplyDeleteOh what great news on your son's recovery. He has a very good and positive out look. I will continue to keep in my deepest thoughts.
ReplyDeleteSunny, I had no idea you were going through this., prayers for you and your son. Logging is very dangerous work. My guy lives to be in the woods doing something with the trees and the fresh air. When I can, I go with him. My continued prayers for your son's successful return to health. His positive attitude will carry him through with God's help.

Such good news! I hope he keeps improving! My prayers are with him and you!
ReplyDeleteSunny, I just came across this post. Great news! I've been having browser issues & blogger issues. I think maybe I've gotten it all ironed out...well, for now anyhow. But I'm really glad for the good news on your son!
