"Lady Blue" is titled, licensed, and inspected. "Baby Blue" is advertised in RV Trader, looking for a new home. She will be going to a local carlot of a friend next week which has alot of traffic passing by.
I still need to move some things out of the small one and into the new one this week-end. I won't be going anywhere until my son is doing better. However did get a call from his wife earlier today he is being moved to Mercy hospital to begin phys therapy. Yeah! out of ICU!

Other than that I am canning some Red Haven peaches in pint jars. Just getting a half-bushel at a time. Love peaches and cottage cheese, peach up-side-down cake, peaches n' vanilla ice cream .......

My little garden has been producing also. So far I have half-pint of those little grape tomatoes, one Roma tomato, 2 yellow and 2 zucchini squash, and my Roma bush bean plants have beans on them! The onions are getting large, and I have swiss chard and beets coming along. My lettuce didn't do so well. I may plant some in the fall depending on if I am here or not.

Hope you all are enjoying the summer out there and being safe.

  1. Oh glad to hear that your son is out of ICU now. I hope he has a full recovery. How is the grandson?
I could not believe how fast your garden grew when I saw it from the first post of it! You must have a lot of hands. I think you have more than one or even two green thumbs ;-)

  3. Good to hear your son is on the mend.
I remember the days we could get peaches in large amounts and had to do something with them fast. In Japan you buy them one-by-one, they are expensive, and not ripe but beautifully wrapped to keep them good looking.

  4. So happy to hear your son is mending and now on his way to rehab.

And you garden is really doing well. I think we had way to much rain and the plants weren't getting enough sun at the other location. I hope they do better here. Of course it has been raining for a few hours now.

  5. Thank you for stopping with words of comfort. I think the lesson we have to learn when we lose a love one is time, only time, but it is a hard lesson to learn.
