Good Morning!!
So good to wake up in a campground this morning and watch the sunrise!
Such a beautiful peaceful little campground. More than I would have thought to pay but nice to get off the road. Only a little over a mile from I-65, I was able to get a pull-through spot , gravel and nearly level, with water and electric hook-ups....... and WIFI! not too far from the beautiful large pond, surrounded by still-colorful trees.
......... and benches to sit on near the water. (duh, I had the flash on in this photo)
All in all a nice stop-over for Izzy and me. But I must be on my way. Places to go, things to do and people to see. I will be spending the next few days at my old Kentucky home (really) I was told to pull in, plug in, and make myself to home! I will be visiting with several old friends before going on to Texas.
By the way, did I say I really, really! love driving this rig????
May the Lord watch over you all in your travels!
Oh how pretty. What a lovely place to wake up. Wild horses couldn't have driven me away so soon. But you do have other places to go and people to meet but don't be to rushed.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels for you and Izzy.
Lovely setting for a stop. Enjoy your journey!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful campsite. Did you drive that far from PA in one day?
ReplyDeleteJust read your blog for the day. Nice place. We just went to the Catalina State Park today but bummed as cant have fires - too dry - but better than getting burned out or fried to a crisp! We had an awesome time feeding the ants there and watching them carry food to their dens and how they worked together...Boy, if people could learn from the ants... Oh, we videoped them and I will post some to Youtube and my FB in a day or so. It was utterly facinating. How can anyone say there is no God? DUH!
ReplyDeleteLove ya Sis. Enjoy and do yourself a favor and MOSEY!
Your at Glendale, Ky... like by Sonora, Upton... Bonnieville? Bonnieville is my exit. Your not that far from me... I was just at Glendale last Saturday for the festival.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time you could stop by and visit..... just a thought. This post makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for writing valuable post regarding the subject. I am a fan of your site. Maintain the great work.
